Description
We consider the secular effect introduced by the orbital quadrupole - BH spin coupling in the PN expansion of BBH evolutions. In particular, the effect is most apparent in the periastron-precession-related terms in the evolution equations, which can be "integrated out" with appropriate mathematical tools. We will discuss the scaling behavior and quantitative consequences of such averaging.
